Never ever would I sleep at this place again. The aircons is leaking a lot of water, some aircons dont even work, the staff is unfriendly, if you report something they will just tell you they will sort it out, but they will never.

The beds is so uncomfortable it feels like the base is small than the matress.

So experience ever.

Old hotel steeped in history. One of the first during the height of the diamond rush. We had the family room, clean, neat and spacious. My forefather worked here in the 1900s and I had to stay over just for the experience. I wish as south Africans we can keep these institutions alive.

This historic old hotel is unfortunately now a low budget, make-do place in a somewhat run-down neighbourhood. Much of furniture and trimmings are in need of replacement.
The breakfast is in a nice room, but features instant coffee, long life milk and store-bought sliced bread. It really doesn't seem worth the price.
Despite most of the staff try to be attentive. Most things work or can be negotiated about.

Horrible horrible experience. The decor upon walking in needs some modernisation. Some customers would also be good. Receptionist didn't have our booking on the system and then when he called the manager he said he didn't know what AirBnB is! Then he proceeded to say he didn't know who would put his hotel on that site ???????? the entire experience was a farce. When he started asking for proof of payment we got fed up and left. Was relieved I didn't have to go any further!

Old buildings which need to be renovated to the current standard, old TV with no dstv, Plz provide better services

I had and awsome week in the hotel..i love the service food was perfect. I really love to appreciate the works they are very humbled and they know how to talk and make the guest feel welcomed.
Good work you guys are amazing, awsome Ladies they always smile se
