We've had the most amazing stay at Alkira Lodge. We were a group of 18 and hosted a milestone birthday dinner party for my husband on the one evening. Alkira was just the most breathtakingly beautiful and perfect backdrop for this memorable occassion. Alkira's talented chef, Robyn prepared an outstanding 3-course gourmet meal and the lodge has all the necessary items and facilities to ensure special touches for an unforgettable and special celebration. An absolute indulgence. Without doubt probably one of the best places you can choose to have a holiday in the world. The views are spectacular with hospitality to match. A warning to other guests, you may not want to leave:)

Absolutely stunning views, extremely comfortable and spacious, up market accommodation. Everything you need under one roof. Meals were delicious and just beautiful.

It was not only a 2 night stay, it was an once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget. The attention to detail, the host Sam, served by chef, incredible food, amazing views, tranquility, is only a few things that made our stay unforgettable

After spending a weekend at Alkira Lodge I have to say - you don’t get much better. The lodge is perfectly positioned to capture the sunrise while drinking a delicious cup of coffee (courtesy of the built in coffee machine) as well as being able to sit in the jacuzzi and watch the sun go down and the lights of Knysna come to life (Beware, you will spend more time in this jacuzzi than you maybe originally planned. Yes, it is that good.). The rooms are perfectly catered to, with every detail being thought of. Such a beautiful space to create memories with friends and family. Would definitely recommend Alkira Lodge!

Arguably my most scenic view from my room ever, over Knysna. Every moment was absolutely breathtaking. Staying at Alkira Private villa accentuates our unique South African hospitality and our picture perfect landscapes. Sam was a fantastic host and considering the current COVID hype I enjoyed the privacy and open spaces. Spoil yourself and stay a few nights at Alkira. You will be pleased you did it.
