What a disappointment...
Firts time and last time..
I have been on a visit to Nelspruit...Company deside to book me at this place...
Is this a guesthouse that caters for every one..
Not a quite place at all.

If you look at the pictures and how the place is been decorated..nononono...
Dont let this fool you...

At night..such a loud and unpleasant place..
With no respect for other guest...
Loud noise..loud people..swearing...drunk people...

If you don't believe me phone me..

Even the guest manager is all incorporated into this mess of a place...
Really bad..

If they informed me that they going to through a loud party..i would have cancelled my stay..
But they did not..oi...bad

Will never stay here again

I stayed there one night. The place is clean and very comfortable however costs a bit more than what you'd expect for what you actually get. The host is wonderful.

I really loved and enjoyed my stay. Excellent location, comfy beds, super clean. The room has everything you could possible need. Elsabe the host was just amazing. Very friendly and accommodating and she made us feel like we were her only guests. One of the staff members Rosemary was so kind and she went an extra mile. She went beyond her duty to make us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this place. Breakfast was just ok.

What an unforgettable place. We have returned on numerous occasions over the years.

The interior decor is beautiful in the rooms. The food is excellent and definitely worth eating in at night. The breakfasts were first class especially the scrambled eggs.

The shaded parking was very welcome in the hot African sun. There is an outdoor seating area which is covered for sun and rain, which looks over the mountain and is a great place to watch the sunset and enjoy a glass of wine! The gardens are immaculate too.

We would definitely recommended Shandon Lodge to other guests who are exploring the area or enroute to Kruger or Mozambique. This is a gem, book now and experience it for yourselves!

Shandon Lodge is beautiful, we love staying there! With my line of work I have had the privilege of staying at many 5 star lodges around the world and Shandon Lodge is always my favourite. The hosts are extremely friendly and always go the extra mile. Facilities are great and location is fantastic. Security around the Lodge also makes for great peace of mind.
