Steiltes nature reserve

A hidden gem in the heart of Mbombela. Access through a pretty suburban suburb and wander into a beautiful nature reserve with stunning indigenous fauna and flora. The granite rock outcrops are a delight and the views spectacular. The paths are well maintained but a bit tricky to navigate as they are not all that well marked. Definitely worth a visit… or two!

Beautiful and close to town. Good hike and great views. For safety, don't go alone.

Stunning scenery and well marked hiking trails. Birding is great. Plenty spots with views over the valley which would be good for an early morning cup of coffee, or to picnic.

Paths could use some maintenance, and a plan map would be useful, but otherwise throughly pleasant.
