I was attending a dear friend om mines wedding. Oh how she looked forward to this day. What an absolute disappointment!!! I have never stayed anywhere were the people were so rude. The shower in our room was a joke. I had to literally push myself between the hot and cold taps just to have a small little stream fall on my head, what a disaster. The next morning I was first accused of not paying for my and my husband's breakfast although it was done when I paid for our room. After this was rectified I didn't even get a sorry but she could easily scream across the breakfast room of anyone that according to them didn't pay. What an embarrassment. At around 18:00 on the Saturday evening, the evening of the wedding, we were chased out of the reception area like dogs because they wanted to start cleaning. Really? I have to add, we weren't drunk, we weren't disorderly, a friendly request would also have worked, maybe even better. Will never recommend this place to anyone unless I want them to have a horrible time. Unfortunately I have to give 1 star since NO STAR is not an option.

Places like these make me wish I had a tent instead... Absolutely beautiful venue, until the curtain is pulled back.

Hot water in the chalets is horrendous. I mean you literally have to do a 2 step 4 count to get some water on you.

The coup de gras however, is the management style, and sheer lack of finesse and tact..

We had a friend with us for the wedding, who didn't pay for the following morning breakfast. Nevertheless, he came in to sit down. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but anyone can sit down at your B u0026 B and have a glass of water if they so desire? Nope.. The manager wasn't having any of that...

She immediately notified "Anna" to make sure that this man doesn't get food, because he didn't pay. We know Karen, but you DO NOT raise your voice so all your patrons can hear! You go to said person, and you enquire and solve the problem face to face in a humane manner.

And for R100 per person for THAT breakfast... The eggs should have been Ostrich, and the bacon from a pig with nuts the size of melons...

The only reason for one star, is because I can't post without any.

You should consider Seppuku...

I attended a wedding at this venue. This was the worst stay I have ever had. Rude people was the biggest issue. The rudest would be the owner/manger/whatever the hell she is. Doesn't she get the fact that she is there to make a bride's special day even more special? Nooooooo!!! lets make it her worst day. I couldn't believe my eyes. Cherry on the cake was that I couldn't even take a proper shower afterwards since our shower was barely working. The water pressure in the zinc was better than in the shower. Next morning we all got together for breakfast. Pfff me and my husband had to stop on our way home to have a second breakfast. For R100 I got one slice of toast, one peace of bacon and a tablespoon of egg. Don't dare ask for more. Ai such a sad story. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I got married there. Owner wants to help people who wants to have a small affordable wedding, at the end of the day it was all about money. Had to take my own coffee, blates and decorations. On the day of the wedding the owner was rude and arrogant with my gest. Threw everything away and took my decorations i paid for. Never saw the leftover food i paid for. None of the showers worked in the roomes my gest slept in. NEVER EVER HAVE A WEDDING THERE!!!

Everything was excellent, very friendky staff and stunning views.
Very clean bedding and room and food also excellent, will definately stay there again. 5 Stars ????????

No thanks, I will not recommend big tree bu0026b, the lady in charge is a cow, I was a guest for a wedding there 19/03/22, talked to me as if I'm part of her staff, everytime we walked pass her we must explain ourselves, she went out of her way to make the whole congregation of people feel unwelcome, she was rude and judging by her attitude, we were a problem for her and she wanted us out as soon as possible, will never go there again and will tell everyone I know to avoid that place
