Thank you so much to the owners that always open their home and heart to us as a family. The cleanliness and homely environment are just two of the great advantages of staying at 3 Colours Blue in Mosselbay. Thank you also to the friendly and hardworking staff.

The unit is lovely decorated and has a lovely view of Mossel Bay. Bathroom is quite basic and a mattress on the floor within the family unit does not meet our expectations. A fresh smelling towel is the very basic requirement. Would advice to supply dry towels in winter, especially when it is raining and an electric blanket in cold weather would be appreciated.

We booked room 7 (3 bedroom) for three people , for two nights. When we got to the room (after almost walking a kilometre to get to it), everything that was set out, was catered for two people. We lifted up the cushion of the sleeper couch and it was covered in sweet papers (which was never cleaned for or during our stay). Bathroom / toilet is extremely uncomfortable due to how small it is. The entire living room has to be moved to make space for the sleeper couch. Images on website is also extremely outdated and does not reflect the changes made to the guest house.

Pool was supposedly heated, but when we wanted to swim the evening, it was quite cold. We decided to turn in and the neighbours were extremely loud and having a party. This was about 00:00 / 01:00. Could hear everything that went on above us and next to us.

The sleeper couch is so ancient, that every time the person sleeping on it turns or moves, it makes a huge amount of noise and wakes everyone in the room.

The next morning, I told the owner that unfortunately I will not be able to stay another night due to these inconveniences and she made it out as if I was making everything up, even though there were three of us in the room.

I was told that this was the first time that they have had complaints like these and I informed the owner about all of the bad reviews of the place on the internet and the owner had a nonchalant attitude and told me that they have a good review / stars, so basically in turn means that they do not care about anything the client has to say.

I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. This was the first and last bad experience that I would have at this place.

My favorite guest house in Mosselbay. Clean place at a good price with spectacular views. I would say they prepare a gourmet breakfast in comparison to most guest houses.
