The cottage itself was quite decent, even though the Wi-Fi dropped off quite a few times. The customer service was really disappointing. I made a booking via an accommodation platform and upon arrival at the cottage, I simply couldn't get hold of the property owner. I tried calling and even left a voicemail message. I smsed and emailed via the booking platform as well. There was no response and it was frustrating. When the property owner eventually called me back, she rather asked how long I had been in the area already. At that point, we had left to go somewhere else as we had been waiting in front of the cottage for almost a hour already. She made no apology that she wasn't at the cottage at check-in time. I also noticed that she called me back from a different number and made an excuse about the other number. However, we tried to contact her on both numbers as we found an additional number on a board outside the cottage. The lack of regard for check-in time and the tone in which the property owner communicated with us was really very disheartening.
