Large clean rooms, with restaurants that are a short driving distance away. Large property with boundary walls allowing for lots of secure overnight parking, and a swimming pool, which we did not use. A heater in the room as well as electric blanket helped to counter the winter cold. Very friendly reception when we arrived. Our room had (locked) doors that lead to 3 adjoining rooms, so neighbors' activities could be heard, but was not overly distracting. It was an enjoyable stay at a very affordable (winter-discounted) price, we will be back!

What a beautiful place to stay! The finishing is modern and contemporary. The comfort is next level and the location is well situated for business travel or a Karoo breakaway. Highly recommended accommodation! Shout out to Rina for making us feel so welcome. The breakfast was fantastic and the overall experience was wonderful. Karoo Retreat will be my number one choice for accommodation in Oudtshoorn!

Room was clean and comfortable with safe parking. Check in was easy and staff very pleasant and accomodating.
Would definitely stay here again.

I didn't check-in, due to personal problems, and i've asked for a reschedule of the dates and they said it's too late, i will forfeit the money that has been paid.

We have been welcomed very friendly and book in went smoothly. The unit was clean and neat. The pool is sparkling clean with gardens and stools clean. Problems experience during our 6 day stay was resolved by the manager immediately. Constructive criticism , the units are not for groups as it's not separated from each other that makes it noisy and because of one braai , boma were occupied by group the whole weekend with a sleeping guest in the car.
The units are not suitable for elderly because of the steps to the loft. We are old school and the open shower causes wet floors. The open cupboards are not hygienic as flies, dust etc can contaminate your plates and utensils.
OVERALL. I still rate it 4 stars because it deserves it and a great place to stay over.

Stunning,stunning,stunning! Im so in love with this place,its so clean,modern and the staff is just amazing. I will be back very soon,cant wait for the new units thats in progress. Keep up the good work and service. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Most amazing place. What you see on pictures is what you get. Only off putting thing was the pressure of the water in the shower but other than that this place exceeded my expectations. Friendly service received from Mandla as well as the other staff. Will definitely be back in the future.
