Should have taken the 1 star review on Paarl Eats seriously. Not spoiled for choice in Paarl with Chinese food, but should rather have avoided this establishment. Sushi not great, but truly the worst sweet and sour pork ever imaginable. Stodgy, thick wet dough, not cooked through in some places, and incredibly tough little piece of pork hidden deep inside. The sauce taste very artificial and from the after effects, packed with MSG and preservatives. The rest was marginally more edible, though most of the dinner was inedible. Let's hope the fortune cookie was correct and that the restaurant's "failure leads to successful", eventually. Regrettably disappointing food. Waste of money. Worst takeaway we've probably ever had.

Amazing sishi which is freshly prepared. The staff was friendly. The wait was a bit long at the beginning, but was definitely worth it for the freshness of the food. I would definitely recommend them.

This restaurant has been in Paarl for many years. Great value for food and so tasty! Friendly staff and quick service. 謝謝!????????????

The food is great, affordable and ample portions. Decor is a bit old fashioned and not the best elements on the street but once inside you quickly forget.

Sushi is delicious and fresh. They have an all you can eat option for R169 or buy 1 get 1 free on plates. The 3 star rating isn't because of the food, but rather the ambience and uncomfortable dining experience. In a hot town like Paarl, restaurants should have air-conditioning to keep patrons cool. The warmness inside the restaurant was a result for flies disturbing our meal. The carpet was replaced with tiles, but the interior is a reflection of most average sushi restaurants in South Africa - plastic flowers and old Christmas tinsel.

What it lacks in environment and interior, it makes up with taste. So, worth the food. But perhaps consider take out.

Waited an hour and still no food. Told the waiter before we even came in that we had arrangements for an hour later and she confirmed food will take 15 minutes. If they were upfront in the beginning we wouldnt have sat there to end up going home WITHOUT FOOD because we were going to miss our app. Never ever going there again. Manager didn't even apologize! PATHETIC SERVICE
