We enjoyed our very brief stay over. Breakfast was lovely, but if you're coffee snobs like us, remember to pack your espresso machine! Cause they only serve instant coffee???? Rooms have all the necessary goodies, except an AC, so in winter, be sure to pack warm clothes. Very relaxed atmosphere, resident cat, geese and birds entertain, fireplace in the room and at breakfast, breaking the winter morning chill. Lovely friendly people, and service was excellent!????

Best of all is the peace and quiet and easy access to much the Cape Winelands has to offer. Beautifully appointed rooms with views of the natural surrounds. Friendly hostess and staff catered to all my needs.

Recently having the opportunity to stay at Middle Plaas for a month while on business, my time there was nothing short of pure excellence. A warm welcome from the the wonderful Anne Marie was heartwarming and genuine. Room 5 was well kitted out with all the comforts one would require for comfortable, relaxed and cosy stays in winter. The view viewfrom my balcony was peaceful and picturesque. The food was very appetizing and well presented. The lovely Rochelle at front desk was always available to ensure my stay was even more pleasant. A big thank you to the staff for ensuring my stay was memorable.
...If you in Paarl and you want to be treated like royalty, this is the only place to get it...

Not the greatest guest space in the surrounding area. It seems they are still busy renovating, as there is still some building materials lying around. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They really tried to accommodate us for an early check-in which we really appreciated. Had a bit of an incident where the manager was berating a staff member in front of a guest, so was a bit uncomfortable. However, its a clean room with comfortable beds, so for an overnight place, it does the job.

We were met with the biggest smile and a very welcoming attitude. We stayed over while shooting a show and every need was well catered for. I loved staying here. The owner is the sweetest and most accommodating person. What a great team and all the best, you deserve it.

We had a really comfortable stay at Middleplaas, the rooms are really well kitted out - with great full length mirrors, fans, towels, fridge and are completely self catering. We stayed in room 3 which had aircon and a built in braai on the stoep, overlooking the beautiful dam. A mention must be made of Anne-Marie and her incredible hospitality - she drove us to and from the wedding we were attending and fetched us well after midnight. Service that went above and beyond!

My only suggestion for improvement would be to cater for all dietary requirements, we made mention that we were vegan and vegetarian prior to our stay and felt we weren't catered for. My partner got baked beans on a plate and I got fried egg with bacon on the plate (like the other guests) That aside, we would definitely recommend this guesthouse if you have a wedding in the area!
