This was a the most beautiful walk...i was not planning to spend so much time here..but the day was sunny..the mountain so beautiful..i simply had to climb it and simply enjoy the afternoon

A stunning place with tons of beauty and amazing hiking trails. I’ve been around this area so many times and never knew you could drive to the top. Definitely going back because we couldn’t explore everything in our first trip here!

This was a stunning hike to do, you certainly need to be fit to go up the rocks but when you get up there it's magnificent! There's even a great picnic and BBQ spot at the base.

Absolutely stunning views. We loved the picnic and braai spots at the Dam. What an absolute beauty of a place. I would however recommend that you use a little bit of patience when driving the roads with a standard sedan or hatch.

Did my 4th hike there in July 2018. Hike is relatively easy and relaxing. The views are spectacular when you start from the picnic area and becomes even more breathtaking when you climb up the second rock with the assistance of a chain. The path can be made an easy circular by following the path after descending wooden steps to another picnic area, keep right and follow the path on the edge of the dam and then eventually through a nice botanical garden back to the picnic area at the start of your hike. Great safe place to take the family.
