Firstly, you will be frustrated by parking. I had to carry my own painkillers in this hospital because when you ask for something you are guaranteed you will not get it. I had pain but I could not get painkillers or pain management. If you happen to get painkillers you will get after 2 or 3 hours. I once had a running stomach after eating breyani and ask for something to stop it. I did not get it. I felt like I am in a public hospital whereby I had to beg for anything I need. You are not listened to as a patient. Not everything is bad, the staff is friendly, although not responsive to your requests, especially for pain.

I've been to private hospital so many times. This is the worst private hospital I have ever been to. First day I spent a whole night in casually and it was very very cold. They only took me to the ward the following day. Nurses at casualty talk louder and drag chairs the whole night you'll hardly sleep! I asked for two extra blankets and there was none. You ask for just a painkiller and you'll be told that is coming. The painkiller will only arrive 2-3 hours later. Food are very terrible and we are given plain tea/coffee in the morning . They serve us diluted juice????????

I spent from 2022-03-24 to 2022-04-06 from emergency admission to ward stay to procedures to food to going home at this hospital. No one wants to go to hospital but if there is no choice, Midlands hospital will make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible and you will get world class medical care. All under one roof. This hospital cannot be praised enough. I was fortunate to be admitted to the cardiac ward under the capable sight of Sister Saib and her professional staff. The food was delightful and covered all different food exclusions. The rooms are sparkling clean, the linen crisp and fresh and anything, within reason, was supplied immediately with a smile. The preparation and undergoing of procedures was professional calm and reassuring. The doctors are some of the best in thier field and leave no stone unturned to make sure you go home healthy.

Website said free undercover parking. This was the only reason I went to them as the area is not safe to park out in the road. When I arrived and informed the security that I was taking my family member for a rapid covid test, I was told to park in the street, and further informed that if there wasn't parking in that specific street, then I can drive around and park in another street. Quite frankly, very poor of the hospital. If I was aware of this upfront on their website, then I would not have gone to them. And I would not be writing this negative review.

Terrible service.. waiting over 2 hours to get my wife pre admitted for maternity ward.

They have no systems.. people that came after us were getting seen too.. only after making a complaint did they assist us

We paying for their services.. its not like we came here to receive free treatment.

Absolutely horrible.

At a time when family cannot be around loved ones in hospital one would expect nursing staff to be sympathetic and show empathy. I called theater to query about a family member and was met with a rude nurse. Yes she cannot give information to just anyone but there is a way to speak, I'd assume Midlands hospital management did their homework and sent people like this nurse on courses to learn about empathy. She also spoke to another family member telling her if she and her sister are close then she wont need to ask questions about which ward because she will know. I and my family will definitely not be using this hospital at any stage. Professionalism is definitely something she should learn about.
