The staff is friendly. The Wi-Fi is good. BUT the food is basic. Sheets don't get changed on a regular basis. I had 4 nights at the venue and the sheets had stains as I have left them on my second night. Towels smell horrible.???????? There's no back-up generators or solars when there's loadshadding. Air conditioners don't function well. Other than it's at a great location. However I wouldn't recommend Pietersburg Lodge to anyone honestly. I give it 1 and a half star.????

Rooms are too old, showers are very moldy
Towels not too fresh and not white , they are brown and not washed very well. They smell a dog
Chef complains too much about food , they call their breakfast buffet but they dish and limit quantities

Affordable place for a night or two sleep over, basic breakfast rooms are ok, cleaned everyday no back up generator so place is impacted by loadshedding.

There was no plate and spoons in the room.Could not drink tea or coffee because I could not ster.But after all the place is great, peaceful.

The staff are very friendly people however the room looks very outdated …the towels smelt a bit off and my sister said that there was a stain on the sheets …they didn’t wash them they just flipped them over …not long until I found a tiny but noticeable stain on my sheets …this shows the lack of hygiene precaution in this establishment …I wouldn’t recommend this lodge to anyone if I were to be honest

The worst accommodation I have had ever!

Got to a room that had not been vacuumed for a while, and had a stench so bad.

The following day on my 2 night stay, got back from work at 2PM to a room that still was not cleaned. I probably had about 3 knocks on the door from the house keeper 1stly begging to clean the room, 2nd bringing tea which was not there the previous night, and 3rd time, bringing me toilet paper for the bathroom while I was trying to sleep due to not being well.

Next morning, apparently my room on their system was stating room only, and no breakfast, which did not make sense as I had had breakfast the previous morning. I waited for atleast 30 minutes to have this matter resolved ( which made me late for work), with the manager and his family using the kitchen with no hygiene concidered (no hair nets). Eventually, got feedback and an apology from the chef. The manager did not even care to apologise for the mix up.

Appalling!

Worst experience ever, towels were smelling horrible like someone washed their pet with and bathrooms didn't have any fresh air nor air fresheners.

When there's loadshedding no backup, I mean Guys we living in an era where we using solar panels as backups if you don't have space for a generator please improve on that.

Kitchen doesn't have Microwave to warm up take aways or something you brought along.

WiFi is there but isn't working it's just a waste really the range is also horrible.

The dining place for breakfast guys be very tidy I saw bread being put on the bread bin just like that without any soucer or anything just on the metal and used too much oil on your breakfast it directly sent me off to the toilet after eating the next day I didn't even go for breakfast you have plenty of yoghurt but no Musli. And ohw please upgrade your bathroom they really outdated felt like I'm really in Hilbrow flats in Joburg.

Was very disappointed with a place written luxury outside really had much expectations.
