The owner is really a good person. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only problem was the noisy pud next door (Friday and Saturday night only). Otherwise I was there with my family for 4 days, I'm VERY happy and would go again.

The service was poor to begin with. I arrived and waited for quite a while before someone came to assist me. The room made for an uncomfortable stay.

I didn't appreciate the lack of privacy in that the curtains had no lace. Basically, to let the sunlight in, you'd open the curtains and anyone walking by could see inside your room. Another inconvenience was that there were no plugs for me to charge my phone.

Overall, I made the decision to cut my stay short and leave in the afternoon having checked in the day before, despite having another night already paid for. This was my first and last visit to the Platinum Lodge and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking to stay for more one day or night.

Had a great evening, staff very friendly. All channels on DSTV, plus points for that as others only have selective channels!

A nice, comfortable room. Don't go there to sleep, you'll be dissapointed. My first stay was my last.

Terrible customer service

I called and booked a room, booking and estimated arrival time was confirmed. Only to get there and find that the room that was booked was given away and the place was fully booked. No notice was given to enable other arrangements to be made. I would not recommend and worst of all the guy at reception pretended not to know about the booking even though the booking was made with him. Terrible terrible terrible

I booked for my dad and they confirmed availability only to tell him when he arrived that they are fully booked. My dad had to go and look for alternative accommodation at midnight.
