One of the best student diners/ take-out restaurant in Potchefstroom. The food is always fresh and hot with a decent variety! It can get busy at times, but iy is worth the wait.

I had a bad experience at varsity cafe today, I ordered food for my girlfriend and I and waited 2 hours for the order. If that wasn't bad enough my girlfriend's nachos which I specifically ordered without meat came with meat. And this after I explained to the staff that she is vegetarian. Rubbish service !!

You wait forever to pay, then you wait an extra ever to receive your order. The wait for the food is not worthwhile the food. They are hardworking and you can see that they are doing their best, it's just that their system fails them. Hope to see improvement, but their staff is friendly, no complaints - only when they are having a lazy day do i get frustrated.

i waited a very long time for my food. it was SO dirty in the shop and also the kitchen. the one staff member in the kitchen was very rude to me. needless to say, i will definitely not buy again.

Last week I ordered a bowl pf Chicken Pops from Varsity Cafe. About an hour later, I vomitted my guts out because I couldn't take the stomach cramps anymore.

"We don't have tramezzinis."

Several times over a period of several months now I have tried to order a tramezzini and they don't have it ready. Not in the morning and neither in the afternoon.

I am very disappointed.

Phoned for an order. Mass produce with little finesse. Phone etiquette can improve.
