The lodge is located next to a big lake with rich wildlife. Feels like you're in a rural area, but it's actually close to the city.
The rooms are well appointed and spacious. Not sure why the toilet is separate from the bathroom though.
The shower has great pressure and temperature.
The Internet speed is good.
The breakfast and dinner buffet are good.
I highly recommend breakfast in the outdoor area overlooking the lake, just beautiful start to the day.

We visited the spa today, the experience was sub-par for a 5 star place. Booking was easy, no fuss. The staff is friendly, attentive and informative about specials, etc. The lodge and grounds are beautiful and instantly relaxing.
The spa facilities are lacking though:
the steam room wasn’t working. Showers weren’t in great shape. There’s hardly a changing area and the facilities and the changing area for ladies are not really private from male visitors.
One of our masseuses didn’t bother to meet us to introduce herself before the treatment. Imagine meeting your masseuse as a voice behind you when you’re already face down on the bed, and you still have to prompt her. Uncomfortable. The massage experience went that way.
I will not be visiting again, the lows of the experience far outweighed the highs.

Perfect place to have some peace and relax. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with all amenities to give a feel of home away from home. The dining hall is overlooking the river, giving a perfect and romantic atmosphere. I loved it and definitely enjoyed it

Very nice hotel with beautiful landscaping and view. I wish they would offer rooms with hard floor (e.g. wooden floor, no carpet) and it would be nice if the breakfast buffet also had lactose free yogurt to go with the fruits u0026 nuts. (I asked but without success)

Shower was nice and the room was very spacious ????

Great hotel with exceptional staff. The place is very cozy and inviting. My room is a great size. The food has been really good. My only complaint would be the location as it is a distance from the place of work for this week. In no way is this the hotels fault.

Great stay.
The musicians Priscilla and the daughters playing Friday and Saturday evenings are the crowning event on a lovely meal. Classy and heart warming. ❤

They are the unsung hero's.

The food is also great and the whole setup just super

The rooms are exquisite and very spacious. The buffet breakfast and dinner also very delicious. They have professional gourmet chefs prepare the food. The desserts to die for. I also love how the have doors leading to the next room which is ideal for group travels or when travelling with kids.
