The food was really good at the Main restaurant but the ambiance was somewhat lacking.

I do know their renovating the place but it felt really sparse and the service is not consistent, I would actually say its bad. We had two waitrons help us because the one just left to have a beer with his friend. Unprofessional.

At the cafe. You had to jump around to get any attention from the waitrons. It was if the Manager left the restaurant and let the kids do whatever they wanted.

** After leaving this review the Management team went above and beyond to make sure I am a happy customer the next time I visit. For that I will bump up their ratings**

Came here 8 years ago and loved it. Visited Pretoria again and was delighted to see it was still going strong. Pasta and the caprese salad was as great as I remember.

Food was tasty and came out fast. Atmosphere is great. Service was slow in the beginning and the portion sizes was much to small for pasta dishes. We have not been there in a while and we do not recall this small sizes. Not specifically planning on going back.

Always great food and service. We come here every time we are I. The county.

Pork belly is my go to meal with Crème Brûlée to close off.

I just love the atmosphere of a small restaurant playing Italian music. The food was excellent as usual.

Definitely one of my favourite restaurants.

Great food and service, as always. Make sure you book though. Inside tables for walk-ins not ideal. But thanks for accommodating us.

Two of my favourite restaurants in Pretoria, for over six years: Alfie's Bistro and Alfie's Pizzeria. They go the extra mile in every way. Had lunch with my family at the pizzeria (everyone loooved their food, best pizzas in town) where I always have the Melanzane Parmigiana. Desserts were served, but I felt like the crème brûlée (also best in Pretoria) from the bistro on the corner in Hazelwood Street.... And guess what? Our waiter brought me the crème brûlée as a take-away! (Won't confess about the tip - it was WORTH IT!)
