This is advertised as a boutique lodge, it is not! At best a 3-star Bu0026B with self-catering, we did not see the owners, just the hired staff who were not very sophisticated and were so loud in the kitchen we could not chat in the dining room. They also could not deal with simple requests, such as a receipt for the payment. Further, one of the rooms we stayed in had a non-working electric blanket with a faulty room plug. We decided to move to another guest house as we had paid for two nights. We asked the owner for a refund stating we where unhappy, he refused and pocketed the money( R2 000)!

Hate having to write a bad review, but seriously Horrible experience - Keep in mind this is supposed to be a "boutique lodge"

As someone who travels weekly, we set off to find a new spot near Pretoria.
Aesthetically, the place is not bad and there are some nice features.
As for everything else, well..
It was freezing, my aircon in the room didn't work, the electric blanket (Great feature) didn't work and the control switch was like melted and left there.

Every time you need to get into the main building, they lock door and you stand outside and wait. Pop out to the room and get locked out again. Ask for the wifi code at breakfast and they rudely send you on a walk back to your room to go find the password. The staff, who are 5m away from you shouting at each other while you're trying to have a cup of coffee and eat breakfast, refuse to touch anything, like your plate, or bring you a tea/coffee.

Not wanting to fight, we simply asked for a refund the next morning for the following night's stay, with the added inconvenience of now trying to find other accommodation. It took us about an hour to get the owner's contact details and then the owner just flat out refuses to even consider a refund.

Just not worth it. Stay away.

The staff is so welcoming... , beautiful clean place, cant wait to host our event there# Conversation with my Son and Conversation with my daughter.

There's something about the Tranquility in that place it's so peaceful The garden view very beautiful
Service service ! From the first day we arrived to the last day it was 110%
The pool section was aweosme the privacy
The rooms haven they must expect me soon. Again I had a wonderful weekend to the host welldone

It's centrally located, well decorated, neat selfcatering units, beatiful gardens, safe premises, private room locations, responsive and friendly service. Well done Elmo and Ingrid Botha, this is indeed more than what I expected.
