Lovely place which is conveniently located in the EW village. There's beautiful artworks around the walls, well spaced sitting plan both inside and out, and the staff is warm and friendly. The coffee was good, and pancake great. The creamy livers were a bit overdone but the sauce they're cooked in was absolutely delicious. Overall I enjoyed my time out there, will be visiting again soon.

Lovely place to visit and enjoy some of life's pleasures for some of us. The menu is versatile and yummie and the meal is well presented. Also in a business area where you can do your other shopping with plenty of parking and helpful cargaurds.

Had a great time exploring here with different versions of pancakes. They do take pancakes to another level with their savoury options, I mean I had pancake???? with beef in it and some salsa on the side. Unimaginable right? But it was very nice.

Downside, restaurant had dirty floors, tables are not wiped before you sit. You know, those little things that can steal your appetite

Perhaps childhood memories of pancakes built expectations that no restaurant could match but I was a little disappointed by my visit this time.
The service was not great.
Pancakes were quite expensive and not that packed with flavour.

I met with an old friend at Harrie's Pancakes. I suggested we go for hot beverages seeing that it's winter and then he suggested this place. I always walked past it but never tried it out. I was keen on the idea.

From the outside it looks like a very neat and cosy place to have not only pancakes but also your favourite hot beverages. They also have other food items on the menu, including wine, curries as well as soups. I had a cappuccino which was very delicious by the way.

I wouldn't say that they are expensive, but it's one of those speciality places and their speciality is pancakes. So, if you are into pancakes, then you must be willing to cough up a bit. The pancakes have all sorts of toppings and additions you can opt for. I did not have one but from what I've seen, they look very delicious and well presented. The cappuccino was affordable and delicious and warm.

I was a bit disappointed when I booked a surprise birthday breakfast for my mom and after our coffees took 35min to arrive - ice cold. I got up and spoke to the manager lady, she tried to turn it back on us for sending the coffee back to be reheated - so the coffee took 37min in total.

When I called to book, I clearly said we have a newborn baby in a stroller - so we need space. I am not sure how the manager lady didn't tell me that their bathrooms don't have changing stations. My sister in law had to change her baby on the floor of the shopping center bathroom.

I just feel like when you clearly communicate your expectations: a baby, a birthday.... an establishment usually goes the extra mile just to help make it "perfect". But the lack of management at Harrie's Pancakes actually showed by customers don't have a good time there anymore. An old couple sitting next to us, actually got up and left.

Just a poor customer experience after we had to pay a R850 bill for 6 x people - and cold 37min coffees. Overpriced and not quality at all.

The food that this restaurant is of excellent quality and as you can tell from the name, especially the pancakes, which are very large and very generously filled. Because this is a small specialty restaurant, the food is somewhat above average in cost, but it's excellent quality more than makes up for this. The wait staff are extremely friendly and efficient and waiting times after ordering are short. I would recommend that any person in the area near American Embassy in Arcadia to give this place a try for lunch.
