I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I got when visiting Sorbet Brooklyn Mall. I have been getting eyelash tints since I’ve been 16 years old as I have white white eyelashes. I know the process. If I get my lashes tinted it usually lasts for almost 2 months. The process takes at least 20min to do it properly . My session was done in 7 minutes!!! R120 for 7 min… are you kidding me? I went in and the therapist started mixing the pot of tint. I realized that she was going to start putting it on and I told her I have mascara on, she said “yes I can see” and proceeded to splash (no other word for it) tint on my lashes (over my mascara). Within 20 seconds it felt like my eyes were on fire. About 2 minutes later she took it off and I was done. I went to the bathroom afterwards and it looked like I applied cheap mascara on my eyes. I got to my husband and he asked “I thought you were going for your eyes?” There was no sign that I just paid R120 for a lash tint. You can literally see the white of my own lash color where she obviously wiped my mascara of too. As a new mom I dont treat myself often so I am really angry about this!! Disappointed is an understatement.

Very disappointed.
They have hidden costs, they were rude to my grandmother and only gave her half of the treatment I paid for, and they mutilated my fingernails to the point where I still need to remove pus from my fingers a week later. Disgusting. Makes you wonder how clean their tools are! ????

Also, when I asked for a slip to display the reason I was being charged as much as I was, suddenly the system was "too slow" and they became very rude and impatient towards me.

Sorbet is ALWAYS a last resort for me for a soak off. Every time I’ve been to a sorbet to soak off acrylic, my nails are paper thin afterwards. The ladies make you keep your nails in the acetone for way too long and file them down too much. I haven’t experienced this with any other salons except Sorbet so it cannot be normal!

I booked 30 min X2 on foot massage and surprisingly the lady masaging me only did 30 min even though I told her it's an hour. I almost felt like I was being done a favor. She was so tired and sleepy while masaging. I could tell she is not keen in doing that.

Wow this sorbet is dropping the standard and I don't think I will return back. I

Please improve on professionalism.

Terrible experience. Did lash extensions, was not comfortable for all of the 2 hours. Lashes started fall out immediately. Did my nails same day, no colours available, nails were not filed to coffin shape, one was skew, all my cuticles were red for the entire day, on the 14th day the tip just fell off. R980 completely wasted, will never return. Siting there for 4 hours, could not even get a glass of water.

Wish they therapists were more friendly. Just find them a bit cold. They lost a customer as I couldn’t find the therapist when I wanted to get products. ... oh well. Facial was amazing. Skin feels really good. The pedi was also great
