2nd time visiting and still finding new things to see. The gardens recovered beautifully after all the alien trees were removed. Very neat premises and friendly, helpful staff with two over 90's that needed help with wheelchairs. Loved the gift shop and restaurant with local flavours

Very interesting to understand a part of the history of the Dutch and South Africa. It’s not just a big tower with amazing view over Pretoria but a museum that tells the whole (and sometimes bloody) story. Try to find/book a guide because the story comes alive.
Two (different) gift shops and two (different) restaurants. I went to the ‘school’ restaurant (outside on the left when you leave) and very affordable and good food.

Very relaxed place, morning walks exercises, running and biking also allowed. Entrance price reasonable and food price reasonable. Nice view of Pretoria CBD from all angles.

The Monument is full of history also available to learn. School kids allowed as well. Also good for team building with workers and family.

Quite place with sounds of peace I liked everything about the place except Movements of guards they should be visible at all times and between the roads.

This heritage site has been well looked after and is an absolute must visit for anyone in SA! If you have extreme height fears, beware of the cenotaph at the top. There is a lot to see so set out a full day. Uni students, bring your student card for discount!

It’s a great experience to get yourself dirty in the bush while quad biking or hiking. I enjoyed my time there and I wish to go back for the amazing race, sound interesting and fun to participate in. ????????????

Beautiful gardens and extremely well-kept historical items. Was astounded by all the unbelievable history and tour guide made it very interesting. All of the area was so neat and maintained very well!

First time back after 20 years. The place looks very good. The gardens are beautiful and very well kept. It was good to see the extra areas down stairs that was added on. The staff was very friendly and helpful and had a good knowledge of the museum. My wife was able to use the elevator to get to the top. Great view from there. You can easily spend 2-4 hours there. The Cafe was a bit of a let down. Not great quality. I was expecting a bit better food.
