Horrendous service.
Went to take my Irish passport photos there.
I kept telling the woman who works there that there were shadows on my face and that it needs to be perfectly lit across my whole face otherwise the embassy wouldn’t accept it.
It was plain to see that there was shadow. But this woman who works there kept telling me I was wrong. Even though it was clearly shadowy, she would not listen and she managed to gaslight me into accepting an untruth. Forced by someone who clearly cannot do their job.
The embassy did in fact reject my application because of the shadows on my face and because of this, I was not able to apply for an overseas position.
Worse than missing the opportunity was how this employee made me feel. She comfortably spoke to me like I was stupid in front of other customers. Condescending and self-righteous. She essentially bullied me because for some unknown reason, she couldn’t accept that she was wrong.
She was disrespectful and just straight up rude.
I’ve never experienced this type of service in my whole 29 years of life.
