Not pleasant, domestic has a child that screams all the time, other guests carry on partying until 4am in the morning. I would not recommend it. Must be very annoying to the neighbours

What an awesome bed and breakfast in northern Johannesburg. So beautifully decorated, safe and comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent. Although my husband and son battled with the shower head, I found it brilliant :)
Should we ever need to travel to Johannesburg again, this will definitely be our accommodation of choice.

This is probably the best guesthouse I have stayed at. The features are all very modern, clean, with spacious rooms, comfy bed, nice bathroom and aircon. Everything you need is in the room. Percy makes THE best breakfast, there are so many options to choose from. The dining area is nice and there are utensils to use if you want to order in supper and need a plate or fork. Honesty bar is great for those times you need a beverage. Sonja and her husband are always very helpful and friendly. They have a generator, so no Loadshedding will affect it. If I need to travel to JHB, I will always choose to stay here as the stay is ALWAYS great. It is the prefect stay for any business traveler.

After having spent three nights at this establishment, I thought that every effort has been made by the management to provide great value for money!
This guesthouse is beautifully clean and the breakfast is thoughtfully prepared.
I highly recommend Vanilla Guest House!
