Firstly, I just looooove the decor inside!!!! Just so Greek!
I ordered the pita bread with 3 different dips: Olive Tapenade, Tirokafteri (feta u0026 chilli) and my favorite Taramasalata (fish roe.) It was a big portion but everything was just so delicious! Pita bread crisp outside and buttery and all 3 dips just yummy.
With me Greek coffee served in an espresso cup, they served a traditional Greek biscuit - Koulourakia - butter-based pastry. You can buy packets of the biscuits in the shop.
Hein chose the Soutzouki burger ... a pita wrap, topped with a meatball, tomato relish, feta and a potato fritter - served with potato wedges. Delicious!!!!!!

Yia Yia's Kitchen is a small and neat Greek restaurant located Summerfield Shopping Centre. It's a family owned chain of about 4-5 kitchens around Gauteng.

If you fancy different Greek flavours for a change, do try them. I recommend them. The food is delicious ????

Very laid back place and recommended for light lunches and dinners.

Their seafood pot is terrible, it says creamy so you expect creamy, the pot was filled only halfway for a main meal. It tasted like a combination of Salt, Sour and bitter. Won't return to this restaurant.

We have eaten at this restaurant a couple of times and found the food to be tasty,reasonably priced and a good choice of dishes on the menu.
The staff are very friendly and we will make this our Greek restaurant of choice!

"Taste the memories" is the slogan for this new gem of a restaurant at the Summerfields Shopping Centre in Boskruin. Well, we certainly will remember the tasty Gyro chicken wrap and pita burger we enjoyed. I also enjoyed what was, arguably, the best cuppacino I've ever had, without sugar, nogal. I'm not a big fan of coffee, so that says a lot. The prices were reasonable, and we'll go back to try out their breakfast next. The waitress could've more knowledgeable and friendly, but we'll give her a pass this time.

We were very excited to try this restaurant. However, we were left very disappointed. We ordered the kolokithokeftedes, souvlaki, beef gyro and melitzana toursi. The meitzana toursi was quite good, but the rest unfortunately really wasn't. The fritters were tiny, for the price, the beef was completely overcooked and the chicken was bland and dry. Not a place I'll order from again
