Next to florida lake this is the ideal place to spot some birds. There is a hide. So you could probably sit there with your bird book and spot for hours on end. The place has a fence and im not to sure how safe it is. Other than that.Correct me if im wrong. But I dont think you will be able to braai.here due to the reids.

I like the idea of bird conservation but iv seen this place become a mess from what it once was.better maintenance and maybe a conservationists would be appropriate

This bird sanctuary needs to be renovated and opened every Sunday for us citizens
