A smaller pick n pay..would not go here for a big shop but OK for essentials.On 2 occasions personnel have not been at their stations.
There are not big queues so that is great.

The staff are not aware that they're standing in the way of customers and the cashiers are rather slow. The manager is a superstar though and he tried very hard to make the customers feel important and not neglected like the rest of the staff do. Not a bad shop but a little pride in their work (on the part of the staff) would go a long way to making it a great shop that I'd certainly stop at more often.

It's small and convenient. Like when they have specials. And not always busy when you go so you don't have to wait in a queue.

Handy shop, never really busy, has all the pick n pay specials, and Mark down deals. Friendly staff.

Pick n Pay employees fail to recognise their brand image at many differing outlets, but this one takes that sad fated achievement to levels never seen. There is a sense of "Spaza Shop" or "Cnr St Tea Room" image. A MINI-SPAR in contrast actually has better operations, layout and customer service. I have never been adequately contented with opening my wallet to spend here. It's just convenience that drags me back, kicking everytime. And, after my SAM A32 5G was stolen at a Pay-Point and a lack of assistance in obtaining CCTV footage AFTER confiding with the MOD, I realise, tata-ma-chance whenever there. Don't expect your expected PnP attributes 'cause this ain't gonna quite break it at this outlet.

I tried to draw R100 cash this morning after my purchase and was told I couldn’t. I asked if I can at least draw R50 and the answer was no! Then I asked for R20 which the cashier gave me.

So inconvenient! Got into big trouble for not having the correct amount of cash!!

Not to mention short-staffed!
