A beautiful, safe place in Johannesburg
While Jo'burg is often questioned in terms of safety, this Bu0026B is behind a 24 hour neighborhood manned outside gate and walls, and its own high walls and gate, so it would be hard to feel more safe. The grounds are spacious and lovely, with a pool, tennis court, and beautiful gardens. The house is very nice, with a wide, shaded veranda for breakfast. The owners are cheerful, friendly, and go out of their way to be helpful. We were at the end of our 6 week drive around South Africa, and had dozens of bird pictures which we wanted to identify. The owners are both birding experts, and spent over 2 hours with us identifying every one of the birds in our pictures. We stayed at Bu0026Bs throughout South Africa on our trip, and this is one of the best. Highly recommended.
