Absolutely shocking. Visited Le Pommier with my boyfriend and what a complete disappointment. Restaurant was quite and nothing was going on but there was absolutely no one to welcome anyone who walked in. The waiter was incompetent, completely absent and was nowhere in sight. My partner ordered a pizza that we waited a hour and a half for, a hour in we asked how far it is and the waiter never came back to tell us and when it arrived the dough was raw and fell apart. Such a shame with the beautiful location and old building.

A wine tasters must for the wine tasting list of places to go. The food is delicious and the staff friendly. The view is to die for while enjoying the wines and food of this winery. We had a good lunch here arranged by afri Vista tours. Thank you!

I sat down at about 10.50 am and ordered a bacon and egg toasted sandwich (which came with chips). My order was accepted without discussion. When my food arrived it was a plate with two fried eggs and two pieces of bacon accompanied by two slices of toast. I queried this three times as it was not what I had ordered and was told that this is what is provided from the breakfast menu and toasted sandwiches are for lunch which starts at 11am. There was absolutely no mention of this when ordering. I then ordered a side of chips. My bill (with two cokes) came to R170 as each item was charged independently. A bacon and egg toasted sandwich is R69. I will never go back.

Went for breakfast. Breakfast ( 3 x eggs Benedict) took ages to come (I had finished my coffee and nearly finished a large orange juice after that) and there was only one other table apart from us. View was nice and the staff were pleasant, but wouldn't be back in a hurry.

The staff were incredibly helpful, making little changes and taking care of any needs. The views are beautiful. The suite I stayed in was spacious and beautifully styled. We went for a work function in the height of winter and the conference room had a roaring fireplace, along with all the dining rooms. The rooms had gas fireplaces too so it was always warm. The food was good, not exceptional. I would recommend skipping the burgers and trying the Cape style dishes. The salmon pasta, Cape malay curry, malva pudding, and Cape style lamb stews were delicious. The wine was fine. The reds were better than the whites. I would recommend the Malbec.

Amazing location with loads of potential. Unfortunately, their service was slow and the breakfast food was ordinary. Nice play area for kids, though it is in need of some upkeep.

Excellent service from Elmien and her team. We hosted my daughter's bridal tea there and their service was outstanding from my first enquiry, until we left after the function.
