The room we were assigned was BEAUTIFUL, spacious and clean. The staff was amazing and attentive to our needs. I would definitely stay there again should I find myself in Welkom.
Note: Some of their rooms have external bathrooms. I'd recommend when making a booking, ask for a room with a bathroom.
Had it not been for that little issue, I would have given them 5 stars.

Would have been even better if the host was more hands on. We experienced power cuts and would have to go through our mornings without electricity because there would be no one there to start the generator. The breakfast selection could have also been better. Otherwise, the rooms are cosy and very beautiful.

It was second time my son and his family came from Pretoria to visit us and stayed over at Heimat. Heimat both times organised that we can all braai there. Tables, chairs, plates, knives and forks needed for a braai were supplied and they cleaned up the next day. My son will definitely stay there again.
