Beautiful bird sanctuary in the middle of a built up area. So refreshing.

So peaceful, wide array of bird life. Pity that we cannot get too close to the water. However it's perfect to park off next to take, enjoy a meal overlooking the sanctuary, or take your family/pets for a leisurely walk around it.

Sunday Afternoon, sitting on the park bench, eating an ice cream. Listening to the birds in the sanctuary and looking at the water in the pan, the winter sun hitting you full on yiur body,couldn't ask for a more relaxed atmosphere. After Lunch, its the most relaxed place to be with the family or just alone with your thoughts

Been going there more and more to walk my babies and they love it. Obviously *some* people dont pick up after their pets (they even offer free poop bags) but people will be people and act like they are entitled or something... but overall a great place to walk/run/cycle

Korsman is a valuable initiative for conservation of marshland bird species and insects and other wildlife.great place too get exercise and wonderful clean environment and friendly people.highly recommended.

It's a nice and calm place. You can walk any time during the day, there are benches to sit on the side and watch birds and water. Around 250 birds call it home including the goliath heron, African spoonbill, glossy ibis and black edret. The sanctuary is fenced to protect the bird life.
The road around the pan is called The Drive.

Beautiful sanctuary for water birds with a fence all round. I missed a toilet tremendously though. I was amazed with a cute little library that operates on complete trust.
