The rooms are lovely and big and the beds and pillows are top class giving one a lovely nights sleep

The host was friendly upon arrival, garden is beautiful.
I'm giving cleanliness a 3/5 the bathroom curtains were very dirty and the basin as well. The electric blankets on all beds were a nice touch, but I wish there was a heater as well, the room was extremely cold. There was a very nice fireplace, but the host never informed us if it is in working order and if we may use it, also no wood supplied. There was a small bottle of sherry for the cold.
A lamp was supplied in case of Loadshedding. With regards to kitchen supplies, there were cups, glasses and plastic spoons. That's it. A few cereal bowls and plates, and cutlery would be nice. Also plastic spoons are horrible. 4 packets of ricoffee, creamer, tea and sugar were supplied. Wish it was better quality coffee and some rooibos tea.
There was wifi, but had to call the host for the password. Only basic tv channels, no dstv.
The bed was not very comfortable, but bedding was clean. Towels were very old and some torn, but clean. Also 3 bottles of liquid soap were provided.
We had noisy neighbors, I think they are permanent residents, they had a bit of a party going on and were in and out of the gates at all times during the night.
Overall this place has immense potential, but the decor is outdated, the personal touch is lost. I think years ago this place was wonderful, and with a bit of work it can be again. If you are looking for a budget friendly place, this place is it, but remember you also get what you pay for.

The unit next door had a very loud party until 5 am, so loud, the wall between our units was vibrating and my heart was shaking.
The mattresses coils dug into yiur hips.
We complained to Marthinus but received an arrogant shrug off

What a disaster! Owner rude, they don't replace fresh towels or refill the coffee or sugar. They don't give all guests a remote so they toot at gate at ridiculous hours of the night! Definitely do not recommend Bu0026B at bloem!!

Absolutely disgusting. We booked a room and traveled 12 hours to get there only to be left at their gate with no answer on the intercom or cellular phone for over an hour we tried to get inside to no avail. There were 17 other Bu0026B's in the immediate vicinity that all answered their phones. Absolutely disgusting is not even strong enough for how I feel about this appalling establishment

Not a Pleasant experience at all.Carpets were still wet,people in next room noise.People leaving the Bu0026B at 01:30 slaming car doors,Fridge dating from 1920 making a noise the whole night.At R 450,00 per night ,I will surely not visit again.

Very accommodating with owner on premise. Friendly and personal touch. Clean. Near amenities
Will recommend to anyone.
