Bought 4 travelling mugs and 3 of them leaked. Took it back and could replace them with new ones. The Manager actually assisted with checking that the new ones do seal properly. Great customer service!

Very neat and clean store with an awesome bakery. Parking is convenient and free. The set out of the tills is awkward though and is narrow and gives you no time to select from the sweet and chocolate section due to lack of space.

Today was around the 4th time I had to return chicken that was off.
I once returned steak that was off as well.
Now don't ask me why I keep buying at this Checkers. Silly me!!

Now when I got there, they were helpful with the return. They didn't even ask for the slip. Why? Because THEY KNOW!!
The entry in the returns book above mine was also for "sour" boerewors.
The rest of the reviews on rotten meat specifically in this store speaks for it self.

This is where i buy all my groceries. Best checkers in Bloemfontein. Good and reliable staff. Very helpful and know where everything is packed. Thank you Checkers for excellent service and reasonable prices.

The staff are extremely helpful u0026 the managers go to extra lengths to help a customer get the right products. They're all friendly. Absolutely lovely to shop here‼️

Awesome place...but the warm food stuff is cold. And needs to be reheated in a Microwave. MICROWAVE Ribs...not good...warm lunch in any Deli needs to be warm.
