Really enjoyed my stay here. Everything from the check in to the room was handled well. The guest house is also close to the shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

Sybil was fantastic in assisting our family and our mates travelling with us with a short notice booking. The guest house is well appointed, very clean and such a pleasure to stay in. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The breakfast was really good and you can see a lot of thought goes into all that they do at the guest house. Thanks Sybil and Daleen.

The rooms were clean and spacious and the receptionist, Sybil is a friendly woman who was accommodating and helped us change rooms at the last moment to a more appropriate room. We really appreciated her caring nature. The downside to the visit and the reason for the bad rating is that the staff in general are extremely lax when it comes to covid protocols such as mask wearing and social distancing. They have little awareness of how they're wearing their masks (not over the nose, under the chin or even not at all) while they're preparing food. We had to cancel our breakfast because they do not wear masks while preparing the food despite one of the woman sneezing and coughing in the kitchen and the other digging in her nose before proceeding to make the very eggs the guests would be eating. When the issue was raised  with reception none of the staff changed their behavior and continued walking around without masks. The women who clean the rooms were also incredibly noisy throughout the stay and completely dismissive of any requests to wear a mask despite us being there for business and letting reception know that one of us would be working from the room. Being in the upstairs unit I could always hear loud laughing and shouting from the kitchen which was incredibly disruptive when joining online meetings.
The wifi is also extremely slow so rather travel with your own dongle if you're here for work. The rooms also has ants in them so make sure to rinse out your cups after coffee or tea. All in all the rooms are lovely however the staff's attitude to observing covid protocols are concerning and for that reason I would not return

If i could give 10 * I would. More than 4 visits to this establishment and ALWAYS more than satisfied, thats why we keep coming back. Safe and secure parking, personel are so so friendly and go over and above to make sure we are comfortable and feel right at home. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have all the nescesities, air-conditioning, DSTV package, kettle and supplies, menus for ordering out, fridge. Microwave. And all sprotless rooms and linden provided. The breakfast the next morning is highly recommended and delishious, and gets prepared right infront of you. Huge thank you to Sybil, Aggie and Elisa for yet another great stay. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you, we will see you all soon. Sending HUGE hugs!
