My mom filled our motorcar at Sasol, we always fill our motorcar there since forever. She filled the car there on the 3rd of February and drove from there to PnP and FLM and then home, about 12km trip. On her way to PnP and FLM did she notice that the petrol gage was dropping as she was driving and by the time she got home the petrol gage was standing at almost three-quarter tank. She was very upset about it and thought something is wrong with the motorcar, why is it using so much petrol? Later the night she said she is going to check the car because something is wrong. She checked everthing she new to check and when she checked the petrolcap she notice it was not completely closed, she closed it and then told me she found the reason why the petrol was dropping so fast. We do went to the petrol station on Wednesday the 9th of February to speak to a manager as they need to know that their petrol attendant was negligent in closing the petrol tank and that we lost precious and very expensive petrol because of him. The petrol attendant we spoke to said the manager is not there but gave me a nr of Trueman that I can phone. I phoned him and he just said he will speak to his boss and get back to me. Well, nothing happend and yesterday, the 11th of Febr we pass there again and decided to drive in and see if we speak to the manager as Trueman did not get back to me. He came out to us and told us that nothing can be done as my mom did not come back the same day or the next day. He did not say sorry for the mishap or for the negligence on the petrol attendant side, nothing. He made my mom felt that she was lying which I found to be very upsetting. I could not believe that they would treat us this way as we are regular clients filling our cars there since they opened up. Well, we will not go back there and I will definitely tell people of our bad experience ... Thank you Sasol Ravenswood East!!
