Was looking forward to new albertos in Durbanville Village Square. Really cool bar to sit and drink. Decided to eat while our car was being washed. Reluctantly. Food took over an hour. The Eisbrin wad incredible however there was hardly any mash. Wife ordered snitchel very mediocre. She opted for potatoes instead of chips, veg was butternut spinach. She got carrots and 1 potatoe should of rather had chips. I also ordered veg barely no mash, again carrots instead of butternut. Bo one asked how good was, owner walked passed alot of times nothing. They even had cheek to tell my wife that you get 1 potatoe KUK. they didn't want to explain they ran out of potaties as wife had 1 potatoe and i had minisqual mash. So poor, no hope....

Alberto's have reopened at a new address, next to Wellington Road. Smart, attractive and spacious decor, seperate bar. Definitely worth a visit, the service is friendly and attentive, the food is good, although a bit more expensive in the new upmarket surroundings.

Wow. What a great experience. Our waitress Mia was outstanding. The Oxtail was sublime and the entire meal exceeded all expectations. The Gem of Durbanville

BEWARE!! A friend of mine was robbed after dining when he got into his car.

I did not dine here myself, but wanted to add a friendly warning. Try to be more than one person when leaving. Stay safe.

Food is always divine and very well priced. We had a super awesome waitress and really enjoyed the evening!

Great service, good atmosphere and amazing food. Highly recommend the chicken with sun-dried tomatoes, the vegetables and the lemon meringue. They also have a good selection of wines that pair nicely with the dishes. Will visit again.
PS: The lemon meringue was like eating a cloud and it's truly the best lemon meringue I've ever had.
