Even though the owner and waiter were friendly, the restaurant most certainly needs to upgrade the quality of what is served to their patrons. Coffee machine was broken, no froth available for coffees. During this pandemic you're serving patrons open ramekins with dirty sugar? I'm sorry to say but the name Barista is so misleading, retail stores provide better coffee. You have a lovely spot, it's sad to see it go to waste.

I liked the place, it is situated in Edgemead at the Edgemead shopping centre. Great little place for having breakfast, lunch or just a coffee if you are in a hurry. We'll priced with a nice varied menu.

Wonderful staff, very friendly, lots of conversations about football to be had. Good food and drink options. I'm not a coffee drinker, butnimntoldnitangood here. They serve a great breakfast. And they have reasonable prices. For moms, it overlooks the play gym by the post office, so great for the young kids to climb while you have cake with friends.

The quality of the food has gone down dramatically since I was a kid, and it wasn't that great back then either. This used to be a simple coffee shop with food that's nice for a snack or a quick bite and a decent coffee for a fair price. What it's become now is an over-priced restaurant with the absolute worst food I have ever had consistently from any eatery.
The waffles are drowned in cinnamon, the coffee is flavourless, the chicken "strips" are actually chicken nuggets and they are some of the cheapest kind I have ever seen. The nuggets look as if they come from a box and somehow the kitchen staff managed to burn them and then have the audacity to still serve it to me. The burgers are soggy and breakfast is sub-par. These are from different days attending and over the period of about 2 years. When a restaurant has a bad day, that's one thing, but to consistently serve food this bad is appalling. I have also heard similar reviews from 4 other people who have attended and it amazes me how this place has a 4.0 rating on google.

Very cute centre, pretty setting. Food was tasty, interesting variety. Our waitress was extremely helpful. Parking was a bit difficult as it's quite busy here (Woolworths, etc.) Relatively easy access, no stairs to climb.

Friendly staff will make sure you are well taken care of with your choice from a well balanced menu in a warm welcoming environment.

Service could be better. Food is ok at best - needs to be better for prices charged. Cake is normally good. Some of the bench seats at the back need to be replaced as they are badly cracked.
