Generally they are very helpful and they will try their best to keep the price of repairs in your budget if requested. I ha e just not had a very positive experience with the actual brand big boy. I feel the quality is bad and it falls apart all by itself so I'd have to make sure all the screws are tight so they don't come lose.

They have no problem collecting your scooter or bike if it broke down sonewhere. At the beginning service from the reception side of things could have been better and as there was a lack of interest shown and i had to wait long for things i was supposed to get with the scooter anyway bit didn't.

I give them 3 stars because i know the guys in the workshop do their best and i can't say they are doing a bad job.

Interacting with Big Boy Strand was a absolute pleasure, the receptionist Slash Cedric was amazing! He was a huge help and made the whole process very easy and simple. I would definitely give 5 stars to his service and i will be back again because of it.

What a pleasant experience! Slash from Big Boy gave us the best service and I highly recommend them. The pricing was also very fair. We’ll only deal with them from hereon.

OK SO RIGHT OFF THE BAT , EVEN THOUGH I AM A STAFF MEMBER, THIS REVIEW IS AS UNBIASED AS YOU CAN GET AND IS 110% TRUE AND NOT SAID OUT OF LOYALTY TO COMPANY/PERSON ...EVEN THOUGH I AM LOYAL..... so today I went in on my off day to change my back tire and came there with a 2nd hand tire i bought....... Neville, THE DOCTOR MACGYVER, who is the shop manager and head mechanic did the replacement for me...... and what i want to say is.....WHAT A GREAT JOB UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES...LOADSHEDDING AND ALL..the tire WASNT 100% , not the thread, but the inner surface, but Neville not only made it work when others would have told me to get other tire but he knew exactly what he was doing and what needed to be done to make it work which he did and now the bike rides like a dream especially around the bends......SO THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH MR NEVILLE, DOCTOR MACGYVER, FOR DOING AN EXCELLENT JOB ..... AND BECUASE I am staff I can say he didn't just do this for me but any and all bikes he touches comes out with the same result....excellent work and results, sometimes making something work which most would say won't work.... 199% to Neville and Big Boy Strand

NEVER EVER BUY, ASK FOR ASSISTANCE, REPAIRS OR ANYTHING FROM ANY DEALERSHIP OF BIG BOY. My son bought a Big Boy and has endless issues with the bike. Over and above the cost to purchase the bike, the cost to repair has just been exorbitant and they (Strand branch specifically) have had his bike for 2 weeks and not a single person from the dealership have had an common decency to call him, reply to messages, or anything remotely professional to assist a customer. It has been and still is shocking.
He needs his bike to get to work and back, the repairs have cost an average R2000 a month because no one seems to know what the issue is and keep on deliberately making him go back to sort out various issues that we find strange, oddly strange that they cannot repair. It's is such a farce and I would not recommend them ever!! Avoid them like the plaque.
This review I should have placed for all to see over a year ago.
