The food here is always a winner. I usually order for take out but today decided to dine in. The service was a little slow to start but picked up quite well and our server was friendly. The wine selection is also excellent. I always opt for any kind of steak but the beef ribs are great, too. I had the beef escargot and it was perfection. My friend tried the pork belly and she enjoyed it but said the skin was a bit too crispy for her liking. Portion sizes are large so great for a hearty meal on a cold day.

Very good food.

Little bit pricey but extremely good.

Sadly they have stopped the complementary veg for the table and now change for it but none the less, a good evening out.

Ordered the Promotional special, 300g Sirloin with Savoury Rice and Creamed Spinach and Cinnamon Butternut ???? plus a creamy Garlic sauce on the side. It was really good

The food was superb. Our waitress was lovely and so friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

A bitter-sweet experience unfortunately. I am out with my boy for a father, son afternoon and decided to spoil us with a speciality burger and shake at a favorite steak house of mine. I have not been in a long time and was first ignored and then half heartedly seeted by a very unfriendly front of house lady. Didn't get her name unfortunately. We were seated, and then had to wait about half an hour before a waiter finally came and asked if we were attended too. It wasn't even busy, perhaps 6 or 7 tables. When we finally got attended to, our waiter was very good and effiecient and he made sure we had a great time. Pity about the front of house service that was so terrible, but atleast the burgers and shakes were really good, as always....

We had the ribs meal for 2. I saw a picture amongst the other reviews and noticed the amount of rice that was given for one person. Regarding our meal (for 2) it was the same amount.

The meal took 5 minutes from ordering to the table which was extremely quick. Even though the food was tasty, it was cold and had to send it back to be reheated.

It has a different ambience to other Cattle Barons.

Excellent attention to detail. Lovely steaks done to your specs served with vegetables and chips. Desery menu. Wine menu. Excellent waiters. Warm,Cozy and Friendly Dining experience.
