The place is beautiful and the bedding was clean the towels were regularly changed however the floors/under the beds ,Barth,shower and cutlery were not up to standard. Also we couldn't swim because the pool was not clear and we couldn't risk swimming in it ..it had like a milky blue colour...

To sum it all up, the place is beautiful but could use some improvements hope to see them on my next visit.

I'm very disappointed. Firstly, the app kept me updated and showed that my booking was confirmed, when I got there I was told the complete opposite luckily there was a room available, and the card that was apparently declined was accepted when we got there
Secondly, the one beds springs was really messed up, the power switched off and the staff did not inform me about anything, never knew about the breakfast or where anything was.
Lastly, the staff need to be more friendly and welcoming.

we booked a family room, but we were utterly disappointed and decided to cut our visit short and booked another venue. the wardrobes were broken, had no shelves and hanging space, and were not clean. there was only one plate in the cupboard, no saucers or side-plates.
the linen on the single bed was not clean.
generally an unpleasant experience.

The place could look a lot better if it was taken care of. The rooms weren't that clean and the shower was grimy. The kitchen was also dirty and had a weird smell. Friendly staff

We had a horrible experience at this place! We arrived at 11:15pm, and we were exhausted from traveling and couldn't wait to sleep. After waiting 15 mins to check in, they told us they double booked our room, but they had a separate property that they could put us in. This room was filthy!! We found a roach in the bathroom, the sheets were gross, and we were afraid to remove our shoes because the floor was grimy. Cabinets were broken, the blinds and windows have never been cleaned!! We decided not to stay, we told the owner that we wanted a refund since he couldn't put us in the room we booked, he REFUSED!! HE overbooked us, then told us we had to stay in that filthy room for 11 nights!!! BEWARE!!

Really awesome place..rooms were neat and clean..friendly staff and always had a helping hand
And close to a shopping centre
Wouldn't mind coming back

A great backpackers lodge, ideal for on the move tourists, with a transportation service available for the night life. Friendly staff. Swimming pool and a borehole (ideal for the Cape Town drought) on site.
