What an unfortunate avoidable experience. My wax experience was good...better than most therapists out there, but the overall customer experience left me feeling robbed. Out of principle, I cannot return to Desert Rose despite it being conveniently located and they agreed to see me 30mins earlier than my original appoint appointment.
Made an appointment a week ago asked if I can use my Entertainer voucher for my one area booking made. Only to discover at payment this morning, that i can only use my entertainer if I had 2 areas waxed or brought a friend.
When making the booking for 1 person for 1 area none of the above was mentioned to me. If it had all of this could have been avioded. The receptionist maybe needs to get of her cellphone and focus a bit more on the customer. I've been an entertainer app user for 3 years and with all the beauty vouchers I've never had an issue before now. I've either paid half price, gotten a free voucher for next time, or brought a friend.
Shihaam (therapist, manager, owner- I don't actually know) was in no position or had no interest in finding any solution or attempt any compromise for the miscommunication but was more than okay with losing returning clients.
Business must be good with the customer service approach Desert Rose has adopted. What a great pity!
