Great lively venue with varying entertainment depending on the day of the week. Expect an upmarket venue with good service, well rounded and the management is fantastic resolved an issue with theft outside promptly with the help of the security staff.

Sound inside is excellent, many areas to dance as well as stand and catch up with friends, dedicated smoking area inside and outside.

The only drawback is the crime right outside the venue, unfortunately something that occurs everywhere in cape Town with petty theft.

If you are visiting cape Town, this place should definitely be on the itinerary.

Wonderful place to cool down when the city is sweltering from the heat. Try the excellent Beer on Tap Standard Laager if you are not sure what to get. Really good beer! A 330 ML beer on tap goes for about R35.00 which is standard for the city. They have some really good pizza specials also. Lots of ambience in terms of decor. In all a fantastic experience. BTW - they are in the old building of the YMCA ????

Rock 'n Roll Baby!!!
What a great all night venue, only place (In CPT) where you will hear soft/hard rock plus some old school tunes.
Drinks are well priced for local beers and wine(comparable) one of the few places that sell espalon tequila- If you haven't tried it yet... get in there...

As well as, if local LIVE music is your thing, great, they have it every Friday night x2 bands the doors open 20:00 (check website for updated times)

AND lastly - If you're in to karaoke they have Rock Karaoke Wed nights. . .

R.I.P. Aces 'n Spades. Corona :-( One more of my favorite Cape Town venues closed down - very very sad ! We had so many brilliant nights there with great bands and people. The whole style was awesome. Hope so much that one day it will be open again !

Really good vibe. Was full of People but we had a very nice Time. Great live music , good prices and perfect Ambiente. Everyone who ließ Rock music and a charming small bar should spent Some time here

Love their vegetarian pizza and the waiter with long hair is so cool (forgot his name lol)...if you are looking for a cool rock n roll place then you should come here!!Hope to bump into you
