Had high hopes for this one based on reviews. Service was okay, it took me a while to find somebody that worked there and get seated. The general vibe was a bit of a party atmosphere. Decor is very cheerful, colorful and a bit all over the place. The pizza itself was sadly average. The middle was soggy, with way too much tomato, and not enough cheese. The crust could have done with just that extra bit of crispyness. The mushrooms needed just a touch more seasoning.

This hidden gem boasts the best pizza I have ever had, I was on a trip to cpt for 1 week and within that week I had to visit this establishment no less than twice. The only negative thing you'll take away from here is the fact that you will crave this pizza as soon as you leave and there is simply no substitute. I challenge anyone to find a better pizza, I have eaten pizza in 33 countries, and I have not had anything come close to this. If you think I'm exaggerating, go and try it for yourself.
The owner is passionate about his food and he will gladly tell you all about its preparation, recipes, toppings etc, all in all, I would consider moving to cpt permanently just so that I'm closer to this artistry.

A quirky little place with super tasty pizza and amazing service! If this is the second best pizzeria in South Africa, I can only imagine what the first is like. For drinks, I tried the Sri Sri sour which was one of the best cocktails I've had and it didn't have any alcohol in it. Please do yourself a favour and give them a try.

Little colourful hole in the wall gem!!! Absolutely fantatsic pizza. They start you off with a delicious little homemade garlic aioli (you can purchase this as a takeaway:) loved the food and can't wait to go back.

Truly authentic pizza with such an extensive menu that caters for all - especially Vegan and Vegetarian options. Their cocktails are also on point, with 2 for 1 on selected ones as per their a happy Hour.

Due to the great quality of food, they get extremely busy in the evenings, so be sure to make a reservation in advance.

Service overall is pleasant and efficient and prices of the pizzas are average. Highly recommend!

Tried out 6 of the many vegan pizzas on offer at Ferdinandos yesterday.
They were so good we tucked into them before I remembered to take pictures.

The Thai green mamba was my fav it is spicy and has good toppings.

The vegana is also a star, with great toppings that you don't even miss the cheese

The other stand out was al baba sababa which had butternut and balsamic on it, which tasted pleasantly sweet.

The service was ok we had to wait an extra 20 mins or so to get the table we had reserved even there were hardly any customers.

Good people and friendly service. The pizza was delicious, something I had never experienced before. Keep up the good work, team. I will be back for more.
