The place offers cheap alcohol but , hasn't been improved in ages and can feel quite uncomfy at times

At first glance quite rough around the edges.... A little closer and you find a real family business. Not pretentious. People playing dominoes at the bar. Family are friendly and accommodating. You can ask for a sneaky home made meal for very affordable rate if you get peckish.

Its now The Green Parrot, under new management run by Hazel Walton....it was the best night we've had in a long time. Love the Green Parrot ????

Cool bar with cheap drinks.
But BEWARE: there's a bunch of intolerant and fairly aggressive regulars hanging around there who believe that their opinion is superior to yours. Don't disagree with them!

Nice place for a quick drink. Balcony to sit on outside on those hot summer days. Not really a fancy place. Just a simple bar for a drink or two.

Obs best dive bar. Richard the barman can be quite entertaining. Cheap booze. Jukebox. What more could you want
