Always love coming to Ferrymans! Live sports, live music, cold selection of beers on tap and good service. It has a wide variety of pub grub on offer as well as options for vegetarians and vegans. Playgrounds are available for the kiddies. I recommend it for a festive day out.

A lovely pub in the V and A waterfront.

Wide selection of beers on tap- I personally enjoy the Leffe Blonde! Probably one of the best beers I have ever tasted.

Food is okay, with some Irish specials on the menu.

I recommend the burger or the sticky ribs and calamari.

Oysters were also lovely.

The prawn cocktail tasted overwhelming cinnamon like. And it is the deconstructed variety. If I wanted pancakes I would have ordered them.

The steak was nice but not the best quality of cut. I also asked for it blu on a cold plate but it came rare on a hot plate. I asked for the Irish whiskey and pepper flambé. Be wary, only do this if you really really really like pepper because it can be a bit overwhelming.

Bathrooms need some TLC. Reminds me of toilets at a school.

Ferryman's in the Vu0026A Waterfront is one of those places that is always good and has really passed the test of time. If you are looking for a fun day out with some tasty beers, live music and enjoy some good food, then this is the place for you. They are very popular so I recommend you make a booking especially for larger groups. This is also a good option for warm or cold days as they have both indoor and outdoor seating areas, and the staff are friendly and helpful. As I mentioned, they frequently have live music over weekends which I love, but unfortunately when we visited the band's volume was so loud that we couldn't even hear each other and we ended up moving to a quieter spot inside the restaurant. I recommend the management look into this as the live music is nice but it was just way too loud. Apart from this, the rest of the experience was as good as usual and I am already planning my next trip back.

This place’s food is a joke. An hour wait for a burger served with a stale Sasko bun and corn chips which I’m sure have been sitting in an open bag for the last week. The only redeeming factor is the live music and alcohol. Would not recommend eating here.

We were there on a Saturday evening. Had some dinner. The waitress was very helpful. The band was playing some nice golden oldies but we had to move a bit to the inside because we couldn't hear each other. The burgers was good and flavourful and the veggies nice and crunchy. My plate had some pickled onions but my parter didn't have. They did give some more veggies tho. Nice place to hang out and sing along. Not suited for business meetings or kids.

My visit there was the highlight of my visit in Capetown. My friends and I had a blast. We've never danced and sang that much. It was amazing. The love we received there was out of this world. One can't say they have been to Capetown without visiting this place. Thank you to all the staff and the singer ????????❤️????????????????????????????
