Arrive 5 minutes early and take in the art in the gallery below.

Then up you go in the elevator to be welcomed in FYN. The view is outstanding and the kitchen is bustling.

After selecting your choice of menu, sit back and enjoy the show. Course after course of delicious dishes each with a interning twist of it’s own.

We had a charming waitress as well as the waiting team in general working together.

Such a fab lunch!

Beautiful entrance into the Speakeasy building but if you're driving it's definitely a good idea to book the additional R100 for parking or else it's a bit tricky. The service was excellent, efficient , friendly and knowledgeable. Great tasting menu with a selection of interesting wines on their wine flight. Beautiful decor and a perfect view of table mountain.

What a lovely restaurant for a treat right here in the middle of the city.

It takes you away from the hustle and bustle into a cocooned dining experience - and it really is an experience.

The service is top notch - ask for Stanley - he's very sharp and attentive, without being intrusive.

The food is top class and while I'm not super keep on the veggies, the steak is superb - you can tell it's well aged and the presentation is nothing short of excellent.

Bathrooms are clean and there is cloth rather than paper towels. However, given that bathrooms are on a stair case, it might be very tricky for wheelchair users.

There's is also a balcony to take in the outside views. Pity that parking is limited.

Just wow! Fine dining taken to the next level, with flavors merging Japanese and South African cuisine. Every dish opens up a whole new world of indulgence and makes your palate jump. Great atmosphere in a modern rooftop setting, making this my number #1 experience in Cape Town.

Lovely dinner experience especially on those elevated seats with the kitchen view! I enjoyed the open kitchen concept. I loved the food and it brought me right back to my years of working in Japan. The food is very much authentic to Japan with the occasional African twist and local ingredients. They were also very accomodating with my gluten intolerance.

An amazing experience, the food was really good, it infused the Japanese culture perfectly into high end cuisine. Would try it again in the future, the only slight issue is that the dessert became very hard to enjoy after eating so much food due to its richness. But I believe the majority will still love it.

If you're in for one of the best tastes in Cape town you've come to the right place.

Japanese fine dining with a South African twist. The waiters are awesome, the food is beyond amazing and presentation is impressive.

Fyn certainly deserves its spot in the top 100 restaurants of this world
