We had lunch at the Boer and Butcher.
They serve a carvery for Sunday lunch which needs to be ordered before the time.
Although they had a mix up with our reservation and food order, we were still able to have the lunch.
We sat outside and they had some live entertainment.
Boer and butcher is a combination of a butchery and restaurant.
This is the second one we have visited and food is always good.
The quality of the meat is good and they have a wide selection of all sorts of cuts of meat. Clean and neat and the working area and cooler rooms are visible to the public.
Biltong and Droe wors is top quality

Great shopping centre with quite a lot of shops all round. You can do most of your monthly grocery shopping at this centre. Neat and clean and ample free parking available. Restrooms also available. Definitely worth a visit.

Very clean place, child friendly and enough parking lots. Has one the best urban landscape views ????. Almost everything you need in one place drive through fastfood outlet, fuel garage, grocery store, liquor store, cafes and restaurants, clothes store.....to name a few. So whenever in the radius please make a turn and #supportlocal don't forget to tip generously car parking marshals ????

The Haasendal Gables is not a very big mall in comparison with others in the area, but the location is convenient and it has a nice mix of stores and restaurants. The stores range from groceries and clothes to curios and bookstores, and their mix of restaurants ensure that they have options available for quick lunches or lengthy sit-down dinners. As it's a open-air mall you never feel crammed in and there is also a big kids' play area (indoor pay-to-use play area). Outside there is ample parking as well as a McDonalds if you want to grab some take-aways, and with the area around it constantly expanding it only adds to the appeal of the mall.

Very unpleasant in rainy weather. One cannot do shopping as you will be soaked wet.
You need to do shopping only when there is no rain. The floors / tiles inside the mall are very slippery.
This is very bad for good business.

Nice mall. Absolute nightmare getting into and out off in peak traffic periods. Should you have to go there in peak traffic, make sure you have snacks, liquids and nothing else urgent to do. Good conversation and or ample airtime might also assist in this journey.

As small as it is, the shopping center has all the amenities one might need and expect from a small shopping complex. Your clothing stores, Pharmacy and restaurants can also be found here. Even a dentist is located here should the need arise. For someone that lives in the new flats, this is the most convenient shopping center one can hope for.
