Dreadful dirty place. Stayed 1 night and would not want to stay any longer. Rude staff who did not speak and greet us. Advertised as Wi-Fi all over property but could not connect (4 of us ) so wasn’t our phones. Dirty bathroom floor and filthy door handles. Only given 1 towel to share. Tried to speak with the lady next morning when she arrived to do breakfast but was so rude and did not answer. Did not ask what we would like for breakfast just started cooking bacon even though I am a vegetarian so had to tell her. Sat outside on her phone ignoring us. Held her hand out for the key when we were leaving. No goodbye or anything. Shocking place will never go back and will put review on trip advisor shortly.

One of the best Guesthouses we ever stayed in. Breakfast exellent and the staff so friendly!! Will recommend it for any family, big or small!! Definitly value for money!! Love the place....

Most disappointing ????. Room was supposed to have a view - brick wall of houe next door only. Bed was in serious need of replacement paintwork in bathroom was disgraceful. Breakfast was basic at best. Really a total disappointment.

Very dissatisfied no one there to greet you just a txt with room number and gate code. We were not given the room we paid for and foolishly I didn't realize this untill the day before leaving when checking our overnight stay for the return trip to Pretoria. We should have had a room with a view of gordons-bay and the pool area. The bed had seen better days. As for breakfast there was very limited choice yogurt and bacon and egg also corn flake. The cook /house keeper was the only pleasant thing about our stay but sadly she couldn't cook to save her life. Our stay was for 10 nights never again. OK for one night only. Oh and the access was very poor also a very bad sloping driveway. All in all a very bad choice.

Very nice, but quiet venue with good amenities. Unfortunately I was here during the Eskom Stage 4 - 6 loadshedding, with the result that certain things were not available, but through no fault of the proprietor.
Rooms spacious, clean and well kitted out.
You'll need a car if you wish to visit the beach front without too much delay.
Situated quite high, on a clear day super views.
Staff were very friendly and willing to assist.
I never got to meet the proprietor however!
A bit of a let down.
MAJOR ISSUE: Advertise "parking", but I had to park my hired car outside of the premises, on the pavement.

If the parking is sorted out, I would visit again and recommend, esp for tourists passing through or business travelers.
There is a lot to do in Gordon's Bay, which is literally minutes away!
NB: Self catering, but can include breakfast, which is really good!

DISSATISFIED and DISAPPOINTING.NOT AT ALL LIKE THE PICTURES AND AS ADVERTISED (luxurious with a view,parking, pool).Me and my husband were looking for a romantic getaway. We might as well stayed in the city. The only mountain view we had was when we had breakfast.Not luxurious at all or hygienic.No parking,we had to park outside on the sidewalk. The pool was a splash 1mx1m water hole. No milk in the room for coffee. No cold water in the fridge. The coffee cups in the room were these old miniture funeral cups.No shower, only a ancient dirty bath. Me and my husband skipped to use that checked out very early the next day just to get home and to get cleaned. And to have a good cup of jo. So that was a BUST! and waste of money. Also no aircon.

Beautiful view with safe parking. Very friendly and accommodating host. Classy large rooms with a lot of packing space. Very large beds with great linen.

Great value for money. Very close the the beach and shops.
