Like many of Cape Town's more remote beaches, this place would benefit from some spending on maintenance and infrastructure. Working clean toilets and showers would be a good plus. Great spot for Kitesurfing and fishing. Not the best beach for swimming.

Your experience at the beach is 100% dependant on your needs.

It is better suited for fishing and possibly a braai. Swimming is not the first thing that comes to mind when visiting this beach.

The facilities are either worn down or locked.

A fallen city, deserted is the perfect discription of this lifeless beach. It tells a story of what it used to be #InMyTime.

Very nice day at the beach. Life guards visible. Just a concern people walking their dangerous dogs "pitbulls" one pitbulls owner were allowing him to walk freely this dog jumped onto a little girl who were screaming she was traumatised by this incident , luckily no harm was done as they immediately pulled the dog aside

There should be regular u0026 strict law enforcement in the area. Too many people take their dogs into the preserve u0026 'off-leash' too!!

Great beach for walking dogs or fishing. Not ideal for swimming, only a small section is watched pver by life guards. It is also not the cleanest.
