Great gym. Switched from virgin active as it tends to be too full and reeks of chlorine.

Generally not too full, on the heavy traffic days, fellow gym goers are polite, don’t encroach and are considerate.

Nice array of machines and free weights. Plenty of Olympic men’s and women’s bars. Staff are friendly.

Only issue is with their billing system, tend to have issues with this but again, staff are generally polite around this.

Probably the best gym in Cape Town. All new equipment, space and layout is great, never too busy, lighting / music is a vibe. Great selection of free weight, machines, HIIT / Cardio facilities, if you're looking at value for money Ignite is definitely it !

I’ve been trying to cancel my already finished gym contract since 2021. Terrible service from the staff and no help via email. I’ve never even received an access card and don’t even show up on the system the two or three times I tried to access in 2020! Very disappointed and would not recommend as you clearly will battle to get them to stop debiting your account! Felt sorry for their business during covid so maintained the contract and now am point blank being robbed.

Great gym, good equipment, and excellent staff. Alan, who works at Ignite, always goes out of his way when he conducts his various classes, and interacts with fellow members. I took a few classes including rumble classes and BST classes with Alan and his level of dedication to his craft speaks volumes. Thanks Alan and Ignite Fitness.

Worst experience tonight during loadshedding at gym. Staff member had the audacity to tell me to train where the light is instead of bringing a light closer to the area where exercise machines was located, when I requested that employee member told me that he cannot do that in a very irrarable tone. Thumbs down for me today! Great gym, poor maintenance with equipment, Air. Condioning sucks, geyser has been leaking for months and the loadshedding sucks. To that specific employee with that attitude that you displayed as I over heard you and your fellow colleague complaining about other members "not putting their weights back and you have to put them back everynight, same thing" - this is the result of the member you tried to take your frustrations out on. Rant over! Thanks.

Very nice gym. Done a few short courses in this gym and it's always a vibe. Music and lighting is quality ????

Ignite in Claremont has great choice of equipment and training areas. The bathrooms are always clean and the staff are friendly. Also more cost effective pricing than other mainstream gyms.The Staff are friendly, polite, make you feel welcome and always positive, without being intrusive on the gym floor.. Motivates you to keep coming back.
