This hospital is filled with amazing people. Thank you to everyone. I was scared because this was my first op.
1. Thank you to the uncle in theatre that I called a doc and he said he is a porter. He has an amazing vibe that flows throughout the theatre. Thank you for calming me down.
2. Thank you to the amazing nurses in cedar ward for making me comfortable and getting me settled in. Speaking to you all is really calming.
3. Thank you to all the nurses in high care. Wow you guys work really hard and I can see you are tired but you still push through and go the extra mile with all patience. Thank you for checking in on me all the time and giving me advice. Thank you for listening. It's helps getting advice. The nurses always check the beds in the morning to ensure we have everything we need, they change everything in morning to make sure patients are comfortable and everything is clean. They walk around all the time at night checking on each patient. And everything is always done with a smile. Thank you Sisters :)
4. The kitchen staff is amazing. They ensure food is given to you on time and it's warm. They also check in if everything is ok.
5. The doctors are listen and are highly knowledgeable. Giving awesome advice. Thank you doc Karjieker

Thank you to all staff at Vincent Pallotti. It is stressful and scary being in hospital. Thank you for making it a calming experience.

Went to the emergency section. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. A beautiful woman named Sasha is a great asset to the hospital, she even assisted me with an Uber using her phone as I had forgotten mine. Dr. Yael Benjamin? got delayed because of a child ER patient who was more critical. I appreciate that she apologized to us, she professional. The nurse that was assisting us in cubicle 5 is super amazing. Overall my experience was great 5*.

Highly recommended!! My son recently had a procedure done at Vincent Pallotti and stayed in the childrens ward. This is the best hospital experience any of us have ever had. Thank you to the entire hospital team for making my sons experience so wonderful.

I had such a terrible experience last night. I was covid positive. Before we go to the hospital we called them that do if they accept covid cases. They said yes. We went to emergency because I was soo sick. When we arrive there they said they don't have an isolation room for covid cases. They even didn't let us sit in the hospital. We waited in the car. Plus I'm 35 weeks pregnant. We waited 3 hours in the car. Whenever we ask they said the same thing. Hospital is full and there is no bed for me. We even have an isolation room in our school. After 3 hours we wanted to cancel our file to come back and immediately they found the room for me. Finally, they took me in and sister came to give me a drip. It is the first time in my life I saw a terrible nurse. She couldn't find the vessel. She made me cry for 10 minutes. She put 2 different needles and couldn't find them. I went to the hospital to feel better. When I come back it was worse. I was going to deliver my baby to this hospital. Now I'm worried about it.

Got to the trauma unit at 19:45. The reception staff were very helpful. They deserve 5 stars. But the medical service is appalling. It’s now 22:00, I’m in pain and I still haven’t been attended to by the doctor. I asked for pain meds, and the nurse looked me up and down and then told me to wait and that someone will attend to me. Still waiting for that person. Totally regret coming here.

We went to the emergency room on Friday evening 13th May 2022 Upon arrival we were asked by the staff to wait in the car until a Doctor was available. We ended up waiting for more than 5 hours before receiving medical attention. I left 3 hours after that and returned to wait another few hours. For an emergency ward this is pathetic. I have had much quicker service than that at a government hospital like Victoria and Groote Schuure. The treatment from the night receptionist was also much to be desired as I was questioned about bills related to another hospital that had nothing to do with VP. No offer of a cup of coffee or water the whole time we were there. Total lousy!

Terrible service and no patient care , we were for 6 hours at the emergency department , the nurses is mostly just sitting there for more than 30 minutes after seeing a patient.
We were advised by my mom specialist Dr Robert Nicholas to take her to ER as it was a Friday and he left early.
Was the worst thing to do , she was admitted to the Protea ward wich is the worst ward I ever came across.
There is absolutely no patient care and the nurses have attitude.
My mom was there for 5 days and they did nothing for her only a drip with pain medication.
We had to call the Dr to ask them what happening as it is a waste for her to just lay there with nothing being done.
After we called eventually they took her to theatre and called for physio .
Will in future get a second opinion at a different hospital as we never experienced this type of service at neither Mediclinic or Netcare.
Life hospital is more like Lie hospital the F is missing as they do not put their patients Firts but the money .
